Welcome to TeoChew Faces! Also known as: Teochiu, Trieuchau, Taejiu, Diojiu, Diosua, Chiuchow, Chaozhou, Chaoshan. After years of searching for a place to connect with other TeoChew worldwide, we couldn't find many online hangout places to call our own. We took the initiative and volunteered ourselves to create this site with the goal of uniting all TeoChew. This is all possible thanks to the support of our mothership, the International Teochew Youth Federation in Hong Kong. The ITYF is the headquarter of all Teochew Youth Associations in the world. It is the main driving force that organized the International Teochew Youth Conference every 2 years. The next one will be in 2010 in Shantou, Chaozhou, China! This is a perfect opportunity to meet face-to-face with other international TeoChew and to go back home for a visit.

Our objectives for this site are to:

enable TeoChew around the world to connect to each other - may it be for business, career advice, or social connections;
create a centralized point of communication & TeoChew news broadcasting.

One small challenge still remains: "How do we find TeoChew people around the world? Where are they hiding?!". Please help to spread the word about this site and bring them home!

Lastly, we are committed to keeping this site tightly controlled and monitored to ensure the highest level of privacy for us Gaginang.

TeoChew & Community Work: Project Warmth

This winter, the Ontario Chao Chow Association's annual Project Warmth fundraising event collected thousands of dollars and hundreds of clothing items to assist those in need in the community. Donations were also made to provinces in China to help our motherland rebuild damages caused by the historic snow storm. Check out the video below for an OMNI News feature about the project.
